Welcome to our new 2026 monthly newsletter! We hope you all had a lovely, peaceful time over the holidays and are now eagerly looking forward to Spring! We've been busy behind the scenes, preparing the garden for a bountiful growing season and getting everything ready to welcome you all back. We have also carefully selected our seeds for the year, and the full lists will soon be made available to all our garden members. Below you will find information about our upcoming offerings here at the garden. From monthly workshops, garden planning, nature-based team building, and more – so sit back with a cuppa and enjoy the reading.

A Snowy Start to the Year!

The start of the year brought a beautiful dusting of snow to the garden! While much of the county and beyond grappled with heavier falls, we were lucky enough to enjoy a more serene experience, giving us a chance to relax and simply appreciate the stunning white scenery while it lasted. Our main priority during this short cold snap was ensuring the structural integrity of our polytunnels—gently brushing off any heavy accumulations—and tucking our more delicate plants into the potting shed or other sheltered spots. Happily, the snow melted quickly, allowing us to immediately begin our exciting bare-root hedge planting project. This year, we are thrilled to be part of 'ReFarm,' a fantastic initiative that is providing us with invaluable support to plant new native hedgerows across our land, which will greatly contribute to creating vital wildlife corridors and boosting biodiversity habitats.

Introducing the OURganic Gardens Annual Membership

I am sure most of you will have read by now that we have launched our new annual membership open to everyone who would like to become a more integral part of the OURganic Gardens story and support what we do while supporting you and others alike. 

As a non funded enterprise , this initiative was created to help secure the future of our work—both in tending the land and in supporting learners of all ages who wish to develop their growing skills. 

By becoming a member, you not only directly contribute to the day-to-day operations and ongoing development of OURganic Gardens, ensuring we can continue our mission year-round while providing transparency into our methods and progress, but you can also use the membership to attend all our Monthly Workshops in person or online. 

The Annual Membership provides substantial value for a single set fee of €200 but any past participants of OURganic Gardens can receive an extra 25% Discount!

If you are a new or returning growing student, a keen supporter or sponsor of sustainable small businesses, or a dedicated grower looking to sharpen your skills, the Annual Membership offers a meaningful way to engage with and support OURganic Gardens.
